Starting Up an Old Blog

07/29/2009

stretches hands, cracks knuckles…

I don’t really know how to start this blog up again after taking several months off. I suppose this could be the time to re-invent myself, pretend the old stuff never existed, and just literally start over, but it could also be easier to just pretend that the past three or four months never happened and pick up where I left off.

Also, I feel like kind of an idiot for starting this up again, having said that I wouldn’t, so I’m questioning the awkwardness of informing those who once read my rubbish that the drivel is once again flowing freely.
Once upon a time, I knew that basically no one was reading, and I enjoyed it–so I think I’ll start from there.

Any comments or suggestions from those 4 people who still have me in their RSS feeders are welcome.

Don't worry…I make my friends read my crappy novels all the time…and I don't even feel guilty.

Has the Economy hit the consulting business that hard? So much so that you have to validate your self-importance at not one but two internet sites (not including facebook or linkedin or where-ever else you have a cyberprint)?

    You know I love you.

Just thought I'd add my vote of approval and warm wishes. (even though I don't read Dead Seriously that often, I still like to see what you are thinking on occasion.) I'd much rather have a visit of somesort. When are you coming our way again?

You were wrong to think that no one was reading. More accurate to say no one of consequence was reading.

I've killed my blog before too. They're like old vampires- they just won't die.

just jump in. vent! I personally don't care if it does or does not relate to the past! I just like to have a place to get a good vent reading and vent a little myself. Selfish I know! Go to it Scottie B.

Saying you are starting up a blog isn't actually starting up a blog.

Now you actually have to post something.

I vote that we strip Scott of all blogging priviledges, since all he does is tease us with a comeback tour, only to not go on tour. It’s like Michael Jackson dying before his concert. Scott, did you die?

    Sorry, should read “privileges”.

Indeed priviledges are rocky outcroppings on which one relieves oneself.

These things take time. Be patient.
