Mormon Blogging or Self-Loathing

03/13/2009

Without question, since I decided to quit pretending that I’m not a Mormon blogger, the most-used search strings in Google for finding my site are variations on Mormon-related topics.

Running solidly in second place, however, are queries about rectal exams.

I’m so glad I can be of service.

Whenever I wanto to read your blog but can’t remember the address, I just Google “Mormon rectal exam” and you are the number one site.

Congratulations. You really have a Monopoly on that specific subject.

Tom Hanks puts this brouhaha into perspective (and waxes prophetic) at the 3rd season premiere of Big Love:

The first person who can explain Chino Blanco’s comment (or gives the best fake explanation) gets 10 points.

    Starting….NOW!

I think Chino Blanco really was looking for a blog on mormon rectal exams…

I don’t know if this earns 10 points but our helpful friend Chino has been spamming LDS blogs with that exact same comment elsewhere.

He pasted that comment in three of my posts today.

I don’t it’s supposed to make sense. That’s just how he rolls.

    David-
Yeah…Chino and I go waaaaaay back. He was actually the reason I put up my “comment policy” text.

I’ve seen the same comment in several other places, too.
