Random Patriots post
If you follow sports, you probably know that Tom Brady destroyed countless fantasty football leagues and the hopes, dreams, and ambitions of all New Englanders in about 8 minutes on Sunday.
You might know that the guy who will be backing him up–Matt Cassell–basically hasn’t played quarterback since high school.
What you certainly don’t know is this: A coworker of mine went to USC when Cassell was there, and happened to be friends with one of Cassell’s friends. My coworker reports that they were out several times together in a group, and he never once heard Cassell formulate a coherent sentence. Mostly just “uhh”, “umm”, and “huh”.
In summary, among the requirements for being the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots are:
1. Not play quarterback since high school (I can do even better–I’ve never played it!)
2. Not be able to speak in complete sentences (I’m sure I could pull this off, too)

Sounds like you’re just jealous of how many championships we’ve won recently … let’s see, Patriots 3, Celtics 1, Red Sox 2 … am I forgetting any ?
Should’ve seen that coming.
However, you must keep in mind that you’re dealing with a Utah State University alum here: We have no championship envy–heck, I don’t even have victory envy. Such notions were abandoned early in my youth when I discovered that my team, uh, stinks.
